Ocean Equities Ltd was established in April 2003, and is focused exclusively on the natural resource sector.

The company is headquartered in the City of London, is Regulated and Authorised by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and is a Member of the London Stock Exchange.

In its first three years of operation Ocean has raised in excess of C$600 million from institutional investors in UK and Europe for its corporate clients who comprise both listed and unlisted companies in North America, Europe and Australia.

The firm's institutional client base comprises the leading Resource investors in London, Continental Europe, Australia and Canada.
Ocean provides full investment banking services, research and analysis, corporate finance and distribution.

Services Provided

CAPITAL RAISING
Ocean sources investment for corporate clients from a combination of dedicated natural resource funds, hedge funds and other traditional institutional investor groups.
These funding exercises may take the form of Private Placings, Secondary Offerings or Initial Public Offerings on AIM.
Ocean has raised over C$350million on this basis for Mining and Oil & Gas clients since 2003.

INSTITUTIONAL SALES
In addition to its ability to raise new funds, Ocean is committed to assuming a proactive role in the development of it's clients share price.
In order to achieve this, Ocean provides Institutional investors regular access to management and written updates on investee companies.
Ocean's sales & trading desk currently numbers eight people and is in direct contact with over 100 fund management companies.

CORPORATE FINANCE
The firm's corporate finance department advises it's clients on raising capital through public markets and developing investor relations strategies.
Ocean work extensively with Nomads, lawyers and accountants in London and act as sponsoring broker to resource IPO's on the AIM market.
Ocean are also able to act as broker to fund raising on the Toronto Stock Exchange and in Australia.

RESEARCH & ANALYSIS
Ocean commits to detailed project analysis when initiating coverage and regular updates thereafter. These updates will be published on a quarterly basis or as a reaction to company news releases.
Our investment overviews contain analysis from both a geological and financial perspective, and as such will contain various relevant vaulation methodologies and peer group comparisons.
