Company Statement

Kirkland Lake Gold Inc. is a Canadian gold mining company that owns and operates the five major gold properties in Kirkland Lake, Ontario - the Macassa, Kirkland Minerals, Teck-Hughes, Lake Shore and Wright Hargreaves mines. These mines historically produced 22 million ounces of gold. Kirkland Lake Gold is incorporated in Canada and is governed by the Canadian Business Corporation Act. Kirkland Lake Gold's main country of operation is Canada.
 

Current Operations

Since the December 2002 reserves were released the Company has increased the proven and probable reserves by 160% to 2,022,000 tons with an average grade of 0.46 ounces per ton containing a total of 927,000 ounces of gold.
