Company Statement

The primary objective of the Company is to discover and bring into production gold deposits in Ireland and Finland.

The Company on 1 July 2008 announced a JORC-compliant resource estimate of over 1 million ounces of gold (Indicated 440,000, Inferred 590,000), on 20 per cent of its most advanced target in Ireland - Clontibret in County Monaghan. Clontibret is one of a series of targets, within a large gold-bearing system which the Company has identified.

Current Operations

Ireland
The Company's gold exploration programme in Ireland is focussed on a geological structure known as the Longford-Down Massif. The Company recognised the significant gold potential of the area and has identified a series of gold targets the lying along a 30 mile (50km) strike length stretching across Counties Armagh Monaghan and Cavan.  The targets are associated with the NE-SW trending Orlock Bridge Fault.

Clontibret, the site of an old antimony mine, is the first of three major gold targets (Clontibret, Clay Lake and Glenish) to be explored in detail by the Company. The Clay Lake and Glenish targets which are located close to Clontibret were initially identified through an extensive soil sampling programme. Bedrock gold was later confirmed by trenching and drilling.

The Company is also exploring two target areas lying some miles to the South-East of Clontibret. These are the Slieve Glah target which is associated with a bend in the Orlock Bridge Fault and the Central Structural Area, identified by Landsat ETM, SRTM and airborne geophysics. 90 per cent of the Company's licences in the Longford-Down Massif have now been covered by airborne geophysics.

Finland

Conroy Diamonds and Gold is also actively exploring for gold in the Central Lapland Greenstone Belt. The Company's main area of interest lies on the Sodankyla Shear Zone, a region defined by a NW-SE trending thrust fault.
