Kirkland Lake Gold Inc. is a Canadian gold mining company that owns and operates the five major gold properties in Kirkland Lake, Ontario - the Macassa, Kirkland Minerals, Teck-Hughes, Lake Shore and Wright Hargreaves mines. Since the December 2002 reserves were released the Company has increased the proven and probable reserves by 160% to 2,022,000 tons with an average grade of 0.46 ounces per ton containing a total of 927,000 ounces of gold.
