Rimfire Minerals Corporation is a new generation of early stage precious metal exploration specialists whose long-term business plan offers shareholders an interest in eight separate discovery opportunities, each in partnership with major and mid-tier gold producers or prominent junior exploration firms.

This unique business approach, coupled with unparalleled technical and operational expertise makes Rimfire favourite among analysts, industry partners and investors alike.

Current Operations

Location - Rimfire is working in Western Canada and Alaska for three good reasons:

1. Knowledge: As principals of a successful mineral exploration consulting firm, Rimfire's management has accumulated over fifty years of exploration experience. With this experience management has gained a profound understanding of the styles and geological controls on mineralization in the Northwest.

2. Mineral Potential: Western Canada and Alaska have excellent geological potential for a variety of commodities and deposit types.

3. Data: BC, Yukon & Alaska have some of the most comprehensive publicly available databases in the world. This data is integral to our research and project generation efforts.

Exploration stage - Rimfire is focused on properties that are at an under-explored or dormant stage.
These targets may have a few drill holes, some mineral showings, or may be derived from in-house regional compilations. In every case, though, they must demonstrate excellent potential for discovery of major deposits. Entry cost is lower at an early stage and successful exploration has greater upside potential.
Deposit type - Rimfire is searching for specific deposit types that are defined on the basis of profitable metals and grades.
The deposit types chosen are those that have the potential to develop into large, low-cost producers. Rimfire's ultimate goal is to discover a world-class deposit, and advance it to the point where a major mining company will purchase the deposit or the Company.
