Company Statement

Gold Eagle Mines Ltd., is a Canadian based natural resource company developing the Bruce Channel Discovery ("BCD"), (a significant gold system on the 100% owned Gold Eagle property), which lies at the western end of the prolific Red Lake gold Trend,  Northern Ontario, Canada. The Gold Eagle property lies at the junction of the Red Lake Trend and the East Bay Trend.

The company is well funded to advance the development of the Bruce Channel Discovery as well as other regional targets on the property.

Gold Eagle Mines Ltd. is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol “GEA”.

Current Operations

The Bruce Channel Discovery (BCD)
Drilling to date has delineated a very significant mineralized envelope, currently estimated to extend a minimum of 1,100 metres vertically and approximately 720 metres northeast–southwest and 450 metres northwest–southeast and remains open in all directions.

Within the mineralized envelope are multiple high-grade structures and extensive gold-rich sulphide zones. Moreover, the increasing size of the drill database has established mineralogical continuity between drill holes and has increased the confidence of multi million ounce potential.

With over 76,000 metres of surface drilling in 93 holes the Company has made the decision to proceed to an Advanced Underground Exploration Program for the BCD. This will include the sinking of a shaft to approximately 1,400 metres in order to further delineate the many gold structures and zones encountered therin. The objective of the underground drilling program is to establish a mineral resource to NI 43-101 standards.

The main focus of the Company will remain on further development of the BCD. Potential exists to extend the size of the current mineralized envelope in a southwest direction towards the Finn Zone (a target some 500 horizantal metres away from the edge of the BCD, discovered during a regional drilling program in 2007). Two deep rigs each capable of drilling to depths of 2,500 metres will be set up on either side of the BCD, one on the mainland and one on McKenzie Island. These rigs will systematically step-out along the channel from the current edge of the BCD towards the Finn Zone. This important step-out program is expected to take up to 24 months to complete and will proceed in conjunction with the underground develeopment program.

REGIONAL EXPLORAION TARGETS
Within the Gold Eagle Mine property there are a number of prospective targets outside of the Bruce Channel, these targets include:

  • Finn Zone
  • Goldray Channel
  • Western Discovery Zone
  • Mainland Target

Geographical Spread

Located in Dome Township, approximately 6 km from the town of Red Lake, Northwestern Ontario. The Gold Eagle property consits of 35 contiguous patented claims with an area of 512.6 ha.
