Vena Resources acquisitions of properties in Peru heralds the Company's belief in the country's rich mineralization potential. With the in-country expertise of Vena's key management personnel, Vena is strongly positioned to maximize its relationships on the ground and the potential mineral harvest beneath it. Vena intends to exploit our considerable in-country advantage to advance our project generation program and acquire further quality exploration projects in Peru.
At Vena Resources, our goal is to take a long-term and responsible approach to finding, mining and processing minerals. To accomplish this, we are implementing a strategy of focusing on high quality, long life and cost effective mining operations and to invest in them throughout their lives so that they continue to generate profit for our shareholders.

Vena Resources is divided into four distinct business units – Mining Division, Uranium Division, Precious Metals Division and Base Metals Division. Mining and drilling is currently underway at Azulcocha in order to confirm a historic resource of 3.2 million tonnes of zinc, manganese and lead mineralization. In September, drilling commenced at the Azulcocha West Joint Venture with Glencore and also at Pucara, a poly-metallic project. The Aurora base metals property will likely have a fast tracked exploration and drilling program beginning in the next few months.
Vena recently signed a binding agreement with Cameco Corporation to create a jointly owned company to explore and develop Vena’s uranium assets in Peru, in which Vena remains the operator. Approximately 50 drill holes will be drilled in Q4 of 2007 to confirm the extent of this mineralization.
