With Just One Hiccup To Recover From, Crowflight Minerals Is Getting Set To Become Canada’s Next Nickel Producer
It’s been a long and winding road, but after years of perseverance Canadian-listed Crowflight Minerals is gearing up to make the transition from explorer to nickel producer thanks to developments its Bucko Lake project in Manitoba.
A 1,500 tonne per day mill is under construction and underground pre-production development work is well under way. The project has an existing shaft with access to one level at a depth of about 330 metres, but the shaft only has a 1,000 tonne per day hoisting capacity. So Crowflight is driving in a ramp that will allow mining to increase by another 500 tonnes per day.
Using a 1.4% nickel cut-off, the deposit hosts an indicated resource of 2.5 million tonnes of 2% nickel, plus an inferred...
