Rivington Street Holdings to acquire Oilbarrel.com

It was announced on December 1st that Rivington Street Holdings (RSH) is buying Oilbarrel.com. RSH is a media group chaired by Malcolm Burne, the fund manager and director of a number of resources companies in Canada, Australia and UK. The company recently listed on PLUS following a reverse takeover of Commodity Watch Plc.

There will be no big changes at Oilbarrel.com, only improvements resulting from the deal.  The editorial and conferences teams led by Stewart Dalby and Barney Smith are staying, will have full operational control and as shareholders in RSH are committed to making this work. Being part of a larger group will provide Oilbarrel.com with additional support and will be further strengthened with new recruits in due course.
