Greystar Presses Go On A Bankable Feasibility Study At Angostura

David Rovig’s been busy lately. On 18th August the company he chairs, Greystar Resources, launched a long-awaited bankable feasibility study on its Angostura gold project. One way or another Greystar has been drilling on Angostura for more than a decade, although in fairness, David Rovig does point out that work was suspended for a part of that time as political considerations on the ground in Colombia got in the way of good honest work. But Angostura was always going to take a while to drill up – it’s one of the five largest gold properties in the world not held by a major.

As it stands, Angostura is currently known to contain 10.2 million ounces in the measured and indicated categories, and a further 3.4 million ounces inferred. That’s according to data prepared by consultants Strathcona Mineral Services and released into the market back in December 2007. David Rovig points out, though, that the company has done plenty more drilling since then, and diamond drilling at that.
