With a 50.8 million ounce silver resource at its Tejamen Property and an experienced mine development team, Oremex Resources Inc. is an up and coming silver producer in Mexico. The Company is exploring and developing projects along the highly productive mineralized belt that has made Mexico one of the largest silver producers in the world. In addition to the Company's flagship Tejamen Silver Property, Oremex's portfolio of additional properties offers an opportunity for potential growth. Oremex Resources Inc. is a Canadian-based silver resource company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (ORM) and the Frankfurt Exchange (OSI).
The Company is exploring and developing projects along the highly productive mineralized belt that has made Mexico one of the largest silver producers in the world. In addition to the Company’s flagship Tejamen Silver Property, Oremex’s portfolio of additional properties offers an opportunity for potential growth.
Tejamen
The Tejamen Silver Property is the Company’s most advanced project and principal focus for development.
To date, Oremex has completed 240 drill holes for a total of 37,500 metres of drilling on the property. The Company believes that substantial opportunity remains to increase the resource base through additional drilling programs. The Tejamen mineral resource remains open at depth and along trend.
Tejamen consists of 22 exploration concessions covering 1,672 hectares. The property is located approximately 130 kilometres northwest of the city of Durango, Mexico and is easily accessed by paved highway from Durango to the municipality of Nuevo Ideal and then by good gravel road from Nuevo Ideal to the village of Tejamen.
During the third quarter 2007, Oremex announced positive assay results from a 10 hole diamond drill program at Tejamen, which was completed in late 2006. Four holes drilled in the Cerro Prieto Zone showed good correlation to previous drilling. Two holes were drilled in Los Mantos Zone, intercepting mineralization consistent with the grade and thickness of prior drilling. Four holes were drilled near the proposed mine pit walls for geotechnical purposes.
During the second quarter of 2007, the Company announced the appointment of Javier Rojas as Project Development Manager for the Tejamen and the Company’s other projects in Mexico. Mr. Rojas has extensive mine development experience in Mexico.
Cuyoaco
Oremex recently announced the acquisition of 100 percent interest in the Cuyoaco Gold and Base Metal Property (“Cuyoaco Property”) located in the old mining camp, formerly known as the Talpizaco-Tateno Mining District, in the north-central portion of the State of Puebla, Mexico. The Cuyoaco Property consists of two mineral concessions covering 643 hectares, encompassing the former Santa Elena, Santo Nino, Magistral and California-Durazno Mines. At the Santa Elena and Santo Nino zones, coarse metallic gold and electrum in calcite stringers is associated with narrow diorite dikes and adjacent skarns. Gold values from underground workings range up to 3 grams per tonne (“gpt”). At the Magistral and California-Durazno workings, copper-gold-lead-zinc anomalies suggest the presence of a large porphyry copper-gold system. The Cuyoaco Property has a history of small production and is considered to be in the earliest stages of exploration.
The Cuyoaco Property is located approximately 165 kilometres northeast of Mexico City and 90 kilometres northeast of Puebla de Zaragoza, the capital city of the State of Puebla.
An independent NI 43-101 compliant Technical Report was prepared by independent consultant Norm Tribe, P.Eng., dated July 15, 2006. Three random chip samples were cut by Mr. Tribe in the Santa Elena Adit and assayed by ALS Chemex in North Vancouver to provide verification of the presence of gold in the system. The report recommends a two phase exploration program; with an initial phase of work beginning with trenching followed by diamond drilling to assess the project.
San Lucas
The San Lucas Polymetallic Property (“San Lucas Property”) consists of 18 mineral concessions covering 925.32 hectares. San Lucas has two prominent major structures, the Main Shear Zone and the Rosita Structure that converge near the north end of the property. Numerous other mineralized structures occur between these main structures and possibly beyond. The property holds silver-lead-zinc mineralization in shear systems. Compilation of information from previously mined underground workings along with low grade lead and zinc intercepts from the 2007 drill program suggest that there is potential for a large, low grade zinc-lead body of mineralization below higher grade silver intercepts intersected in near surface drill holes and workings. To date, Oremex has completed in excess of 7,000 metres of drilling (67 holes) on the property, defining a 3 kilometre long zone by drilling within a 4 kilometre zone outlined by surface mapping.
The San Lucas Property is situated 86 kilometres north of the city of Durango via paved Mexico Highway 45 through the village of Guadalupe Aguilera to the village of Diez de Octubre and then on to San Lucas de Ocampo.
During the first quarter of 2007, Oremex initiated a reverse circulation drilling program that resulted in 47 holes totaling 7,012 metres of drilling, to test extensions down dip and along trend of mineralization. The drill program was halted in early May 2007, due to budget concerns and further evaluation. In July 2007, the Company released highlights on 37 of the 47 drill holes (see News Release July 3, 2007). The program was designed to test extensions of mineralization both down dip and along strike to the mineralized zone identified in the 2005 drill program. The most significant results are contained in four holes which run along the main mineralized zone (see news release October 16, 2007).
Once all assays have been received, the Company plans to complete a detailed assessment of the 2007 drill program and plans for future exploration on the property.
Chalchihuites
The Chalchihuites Silver-Lead-Zinc Property (“Chalchihuites Property”) consists of four mineral concessions, Santa Teresa, Purisima, Santo Domingo and the Santo Domingo Dos and covers about 48 hectares in the State of Zacatecas, Mexico. The property, located on the northern end of the Chalchihuites silver producing district, is a veined manto system that in the past has produced high grade silver, lead and zinc. The property is at an early grass roots stage of exploration and has no indicated minerals resources.
The Chalchihuites Property is situated in the municipality of Chalchihuites in the State of Zacatecas, about 100 kilometres southeast of the city of Durango, Mexico. It is easily accessible year round by paved highway to the town of Vicente Gerrero, and then south-southeast via secondary roads to Gualterio and south to Chalchihuites.
A summary report on the Chalchihuites Property was originally prepared by Peter A. Christopher, P.Eng., in April 2003. The report was not prepared in the form required by NI 43-101 and as a result has not been filed with Sedar.
Oremex has maintained the Chalchihuites Property in good standing, but has not performed any field work on the property this year. The Company plans to conduct an assessment of this property by year end and may offer the property for joint venture.
Santa Catarina
The Santa Catarina massive sulphide gold property (“Santa Catarina Property”), consisting of two mineral concessions covering 142 hectares, is located near the village of Santa Catarina in Sinaloa State, Mexico. The mineralized area (primarily pyrrhotite with minor chalcopyrite) hosts gold values that range from 6.8 to 17.1 grams per tonne gold across an apparent width of 20 metres. The property is at an early stage of exploration and development.
The Santa Catarina massive sulphide gold deposit is located near the village of Santa Catarina, State of Sinaloa, Mexico. Santa Catarina is 71 kilometers by road from Mazatlan. Access is via Mexico Highway 15 south 26 kilometres to the village of Villa Union, then left on Mexico Highway 40, a distance of 21 kilometres to the village of Concordia. At Concordia, travel north on paved road 12 kilometres to the road to Santa Catarina, then on a gravel road for 6 kilometres to the village of Santa Catarina. The property is 5.2 kilometres beyond the town.
Oremex announced that it had acquired 100% interest in the Santa Catarina Property on May 11, 2007. The property was purchased outright for a purchase price of MP $200,000 (CDN $21,000) and back taxes of MP $25,000 (CDN $2,625). The property was originally acquired by Minera Montana S. de C.V. in May 2007. In September 2007, Oremex finalized its acquisition of Minera Montana and its portfolio of properties in Mexico and plans an assessment of this project during the fourth quarter of 2007.
El Sol
The El Sol Property consists of one mineral concession covering about 63 hectares located in the State of Durango, Mexico. The high grade silver-lead-zinc system has showings that have had small production in the past. The property is at an early grass roots stage of exploration and development and has no indicated resources.
The El Sol Property is situated in the municipality of Guadalupe Victoria, 73 kilometres northeast of the city of Durango, State of Durango, Mexico. The property has easy access year round from Durango by paved Mexico Highway 40 to Guadalupe Victoria and then a secondary graded road for about nine kilometres north.
Since acquiring the El Sol Property in 2003 and conducting an initial work program, the Company has maintained the project in good standing but has not performed and further field work.
During 2007, the Company completed an assessment of the project and concluding that the Company intends to sell its interest in this property.
Maco
The Maco Property, located near the village of San Blas, State of Sinaloa, Mexico, is comprised of a single claim covering 1,500 hectares. The claim covers a large area of prospective gold/copper porphyry mineralization. The property is at an early grass roots stage of exploration.
The Maco Property is located near the village of San Blas, approximately 20 kilometres north east of town of Los Mochis, State of Sinaloa, Mexico.
The Company has not performed any further field work on the property and plans to complete a re-assessment of the property and may offer the property for joint venture.
Navidad
The Navidad Property, located in the foothills of the western slope of the Sierra Madre Occidental, is located in the Municipality of Cucurpe, Sonora in northern Mexico. It consists of one mineral concession covering approximately 134 hectares. The concession is in the vicinity of the Santa Gertrudis heap leach operation that was once operated by Campell Resources Inc. Prior information indicates the area is prospective for disseminated gold. The property is at an early grass roots stage of exploration.
Since acquiring the Navidad Property in 2003 the Company has maintained the project in good standing and conducted a preliminary surface sampling program in 2006. The Company has not performed any further field work on the property.
During 2007, the Company completed an assessment of the project and concluding that the Company intends to sell its interest in this property.

Oremex Resources Inc. has 100% interest in eight mineral exploration properties in Mexico.
