Company Statement

Helio Resource Corp. is focussed on generating high quality exploration targets in southern Africa that meet and exceed the size criteria of Major mining companies.  The company has demonstrated this ability through its projects in Namibia, Botswana and Tanzania.  Management comprises well qualified, seasoned exploration professionals with extensive experience of southern Africa.

Helio's strategy is to continue to attract well-funded junior and senior joint venture partners to advance its project and to offset financial and shareholder dilution risks. The formation of multiple joint venture relationships allows management to further generate high quality projects at low cost to the company. We feel this strategy is fundamental to our objective of becoming the best exploration company in southern Africa.

Current Operations

Helio Resource Corp. is geared to the generation of exploration targets that have the potential to host deposits attractive to major mining companies.
The company currently has fourteen exploration projects, located in three countries in Southern Africa, as follows:

NAMIBIA

  1. Otjitombo Copperbelt-style copper-gold-cobalt mineralization exposed over an 8km+ strike length. 4,800m of drilling completed in 2005. Intersections up to 39.4m @1% Cu. Multiple drill-ready targets exist.
  2. Leicester Copper project with mineralized outcrops over a 13km distance along a regional fault. Mineralization is hosted in both basement granites and younger sedimentary rocks, and appears to have similarities to Copperbelt style mineralization. Phase 2 drilling anticipated in the second half of 2006. This project is under option to Yale Resources Ltd.
  3. Vredelus Gold project in the same belt as Anglogold's Navachab gold mine and Teal Exploration and Mining Inc.'s Otjikoto gold project (pre-feasibility stage). Helio's partner Teck Cominco completed drill programme on April 24th. Assays are pending.
  4. Makuru Early-stage gold project contiguous with and west of the Vredelus licence. Similar magnetic anomalies to those associated with gold mineralization at Vredelus. Helio's partner, Yale Resources, finished a shallow RAB drill programme and as a result elected to go to the 2nd year of the agreement. An RC drill programme has recently been completed and results are pending.
  5. Tevrede The Tevrede licence has several IOCG (Iron Oxide Copper Gold) and gold only targets. Drilling in 2003 discovered a new structurally controlled gold zone -- The Azurite Hill Trend -- which appears to have a strike length in excess of 2km. Drilling intersected 9g/t Au over 2m and is open along strike. In addition, high grade gold occurrences are know over an 11km strike length in a package of quartzites. The project has several drill ready targets.
  6. Tevrede South Contiguous to the south of the Tevrede project, Helio has covered the 600km2 licence with reconnaissance stream sediment sampling, and 5 detailed soil sample grids, leading to the discovery of the Zulu polymetallic anomaly, amongst others. Recent bedrock sampling has identified a gold rich zone in a sedimentary package that returned 17.85g/t Au over a 5m width.
  7. Honib Contiguous to the west of Tevrede South, this licence is prospective for both IOCG and SEDEX copper-lead-zinc-silver-gold mineralization. Property-wide stream sediment sampling has been completed, along with detailed soil sampling on three grids, which led to the discovery of the Grensvoet Cu-Ag-Au-Pb target. Assays from Grensvoet have returned up to 1.2kg/t Ag and 20% Cu. Helio has completed a short drill programme designed to better understand the geology and the controls and style of mineralization.
  8. Otjitombo South Helio can earn a 90% interest in this licence from Teck Cominco Namibia Ltd. The 94,000Ha licence surrounds the east, south, and west sides of the Otjitombo project and is prospective for Copperbelt style mineralization.
  9. Tevrede North Helio can earn a 90% interest in this licence from Teck Cominco Namibia Ltd. The 49,000Ha licence extends north from the Tevrede licence and has similar geological characteristics to Tevrede, Tevrede South and Honib.
  10. Huab Application submitted for a 89,000Ha Exclusive Prospecting Licence in NW Namibia.
  11. Oasis Application submitted for a 72,000Ha Exclusive Prospecting Licence in NW Namibia.
  12. Okahandja Application submitted for a 1,066,000Ha reconnaissance licence in the Damara gold belt.

BOTSWANA

Lokgwabe Diamond project with coincident magnetic / kimberlite indicator mineral anomalies and G10 garnets. Helio's partner Indicator Minerals completed the first phase of drilling on May 10, 2006. Expenditures to date have been sufficient to meet Helio's commitment to the property owner, Jatinga.
TANZANIA

Saza Helio has an option to earn a 100% interest, subject to a 2% Royalty, in the 51km2 Saza licence, located in the Lupa Goldfields. The licence includes the eastern section of the Saza Mine and all of the Razorback Mine. Helio completed property wide IP geophysics in the first half of the year and a ~3,000m RC drill programme on four targets in July.

Geographical Spread

Nine exploration licences (base and precious metals, and diamonds) in northern Namibia held by Helio's 100% owned Namibian subsidiary, one diamond project in Botswana, and a gold project in SW Tanzania.
