El Niņo Ventures is an aggressive junior exploration company with a focus on base metals in the Bathurst Mining Camp and Copper in the DRC.
Our business model is to revisit former mining regions, apply new technology to advanced stage exploration targets, and aggressively acquire new projects on a global scale. Our present focus is in Canada, Europe and Africa.

Congo Copper Project
El Niņo Ventures Inc. has acquired a 70 percent interest in a Joint Venture Agreement with GCP Group Ltd, a private Congolese company. El Niņo holds it's initial 70 percent interest in Research Permits # 5214, 5215, 5216 and 5217. These permits were granted by the Cadastre Miner of the DRC and covering 352 square kilometers in one of the most prospective exploration areas in the DRC-Zambian Copperbelt. The permits are located between Lubumbashi and Likasi and offer easy access for exploration which offers excellent infrastructure.
Bancroft Uranium Property
On November 2nd 2006, El Nino entered into an option agreement with CanAm Uranium- hyperlink to www.canamuranium.com ( CAUI ) formerly Boulder Creek Exploration.
This agreement will finance the Bancroft properties through the next stages of exploration. Under the terms of this agreement, El Niņo will receive 275,000 shares of Boulder, and cash payment totaling CDN $125,000.Boulder can earn in a 60 percent interest by committing CDN $1,000,000 over the next two years and could earn up to 80 percent of the project by issuing a further 300,000 shares and spending an additional CDN $1,500,000.
El Niņo will remain the operator for the first two years of this agreement and will receive a management fee of 10 percent of Exploration Expenditures and cash payments of CDN $40,000 a year for the second year and CDN $20,000 per year thereafter.
The properties in total are comprised of 37 mineral claims containing 247 claim units. The claims cover a total of approximately 9,765 acres (3,952 hectares), and are located 10-40 km to the east of the town of Bancroft.
Prospecting Ireland
El Niņo Ventures Inc. is pleased to report that it has recently been granted two additional Prospecting Licences within the Republic of Ireland. The Company now holds a total of thirteen Prospecting Licences overlying more than 450 square kilometres of the Central Carboniferous Limestone Basin.
Ireland's Lower Carboniferous limestones host important, very good grade, zinc and lead mineralization including the three mines currently in operation. These mines contribute a substantial proportion of Western Europe's zinc and lead concentrate requirements.
