Company Information for African Aura Resources Ltd

Company Statement

African Aura has an aggressive ‘first-mover' exploration strategy, focused on the discovery of world-class gold deposits in emerging sub-Saharan Africa.

The Company has prospective licences totaling over 8,000km2 in Liberia and Cameroon, targeting areas of active artisanal gold mining within classic Archaean greenstone and volcano-sedimentary belts. The Company is actively pursuing a number of additional growth opportunities in prospective ‘frontier' terrains.

Current Operations

LIBERIA

African Aura holds two Exploration Licences in Liberia, East Kpo (400km2) and North Bea (400km2), both grabted in 2004. The licences were selected on the basis of their highly prospective Archaean geology and the presence of significant historical artisinal mining for both gold and diamonds.

 - Positive initial drilling results from Fula Camp shear zone prospect
 - 11 on-going exploration projects
 - Diamond JV with Stellar Diamonds on North Bea license

CAMEROON

 - Six exploration licences totalling 5,947km2
 - Two reconnaissance licences 20,000km2
 - Advanced stage Batouri gold project
 - Exploration commenced in 2006
 - Highly prospective under-explored geology with multiple targets generated

African Aura's exploration team in Cameroon is lead by an experienced expatriate geologist and includes a project (expatriate) geologist, four Cameroonian geologists, an experienced local prospector and up to thirty field staff.

Ridgeway Energy

African Aura Resources has established a 70% owned subsidiary, Ridgeway Energy Ltd ("Ridgeway"), to undertake uranium exploration in Africa. Ridgeway will initially focus on Cameroon, where it has been granted two licences totalling 1,969km2 that include historically recorded uranium occurrences.
