Company Statement

African Aura has an aggressive ‘first-mover' exploration strategy, focused on the discovery of world-class gold deposits in emerging sub-Saharan Africa.

The Company has a portfolio of exploration licences totalling approximately 8,000km² targeting areas of active artisanal gold mining within Archean and Birimian greenstone and volcano-sedimentary belts. The portfolio includes the Batouri gold project in eastern Cameroon and the Fula Camp gold project in Liberia.


Current Operations

LIBERIA

African Aura holds two Exploration Licences in Liberia, East Kpo (400km2) and North Bea (400km2), both grabted in 2004. The licences were selected on the basis of their highly prospective Archaean geology and the presence of significant historical artisinal mining for both gold and diamonds.

 - 400km2 of highly prospective licences targetting Archean greenstone belts
 - Positive initial drilling results from Fula Camp shear zone prospect
 - 7 on-going exploration projects
 - Diamond JV with Stellar Diamonds on North Bea license

CAMEROON

- Six exploration licences totaling 5,947km²
- Advanced stage Batouri gold project
- Exploration commenced in 2006
- Birimian type volcano-sedimentary belts
- Archaean Congo craton similar to DRC, Tanzania
- Stable democracy with excellent infrastructure

African Aura's exploration team in Cameroon is lead by an experienced expatriate geologist and includes a project (expatriate) geologist, four Cameroonian geologists, an experienced local prospector and up to thirty field staff.

Ridgeway Energy

African Aura Resources has established a 70% owned subsidiary, Ridgeway Energy Ltd ("Ridgeway"), to undertake uranium exploration in Africa. Ridgeway will initially focus on Cameroon, where it has been granted two licences totalling 1,969km2 that include historically recorded uranium occurrences.
