Company Statement
Starfield Resources Inc. is an advanced exploration and emerging early stage development company focused on its 100% owned Ferguson Lake Nickel-Copper-Cobalt-Platinum-Palladium-Rhodium property in Nunavut Territory, Canada. The Ferguson Lake project, which spans 1.3 million acres, is the largest base metal and PGE project in Nunavut, with an unparalleled rate of PGE discovery in North America. Since 1999, Starfield has completed 132,000 metres of diamond drilling in 359 holes.
Following the discovery of large mineral deposits, and preparation of National Instrument 43-101 technical reports, the company has reached the end of its primary exploration phase and plans to move forward into the development stage to value and define this deposit with a full scoping study scheduled for completion in late 2007. Starfield has developed a novel, environmentally friendly and energy-efficient hydrometallurgical flowsheet to recover nickel, copper, cobalt, palladium and platinum from Ferguson Lake massive sulphides.
