Anglesey Mining plc is a UK based company with a full London Stock Exchange listing which currently holds:
The historically important Parys Mountain zinc-copper-lead deposit in North Wales, UK with a total resource of 7.76 million tonnes, which is proposed to be sold to Western Metals of Perth, Australia - see press release of 10 April 08.
The Labrador Iron Ore project a direct shipping partially developed project which will produce lump and sinter fines ores with a short time to production and relatively low capital expenditure requirements. A unique opportunity to re-establish major iron ore mines previously operated by the Iron Ore Company of Canada. Following the flotation in Canada of the Labrador operations, Anglesey holds 50% of Labrador Iron Mines Holdings Limited (TSX:LIR) which in turn owns 100% of the Schefferville iron ore project.

On 10 April 2008, the company announced that terms had been agreed for the sale of the Parys Mountain Project to ASX-listed Western Metals Limited.
