Company Statement

Angus & Ross plc is an exploration and mining company registered in the United Kingdom and listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. Its main properties are in Greenland, and it has further exploration interests in Brazil and Australia.

The Company's main focus is the Black Angel zinc/lead property in Western Greenland. The financing package for the project was approved by shareholders in July 2007 and the first production is expected in 2008. Black Angel was one of the richest zinc mines in the world in its time and closed down in 1990 after 17 years of continuous operation. Advances in mining technology and the steady rise in zinc prices makes us believe that this mine may be producing again very soon. Angus & Ross also holds 259 sq km of exploration ground around the mine.

Current Operations

Angus & Ross is currently involved in the following exploration projects:

Greenland:
The Black Angel project is the main focus of Angus & Ross plc. The objective of the project is to re-open the Black Angel zinc mine in West Greenland and to conduct extensive exploration of its 187 km2 licence area aimed at discovery of a significant zinc/lead orebody.

The Motzfeldt tantalum property is located in southern Greenland and it was the original exploration project undertaken by the Company in 2000 and covering licence 2000/5 of 414 km2 (Now reduced to 84 km2).

Brazil:
Angus & Ross plc started exploration in Brazil late in 2002, with the primary objective of smaller but low cost tantalum production. Later, gold was added as a target mineral. Currently A&R has 4 projects in Brazil, including one with near production potential. St Andrews Mining Ltd is A&R's wholly owned subsidiary dedicated to the development of the Brazilian operations. It is envisaged that it will eventually be self-financing.

Australia:
Angus & Ross plc is a major shareholder of Queensland Gold & Minerals Ltd (QGM), which owns eight properties in Australia. QGM listed on Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) on 3rd January 2007. After this IPO Angus and Ross holds 28.2% of QGM's shares and is its largest shareholder.
